CHALK THE WALK
Join us on Saturday, May 31 from 9:00–10:00 PM at Courthouse Square in Albemarle for Chalk the Walk: Pride Edition as we celebrate the beginning of Pride Month with color, creativity, and community. Together we’ll fill the sidewalks with messages of love, equality, hope, and Pride through art and encouraging words. Whether you want to create something elaborate or simply stop by to connect with others, everyone is welcome. Chalk will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring your own. Come help us brighten downtown and kick off Pride Month one colorful square at a time.

COFFEE & CONVERSATION
Coffee & Conversations is Indivisible Uwharrie’s laid-back, community-driven meetup where people gather every other Wednesday over a cup of coffee to talk about what’s happening locally, share concerns, swap ideas, and get to know one another. The vibe is friendly, welcoming, and intentionally low-stress, giving folks a chance to check in with each other, talk about civic issues that matter, and strengthen the sense of community that fuels Indivisible Uwharrie’s work.

CANDLELIGHT VIGIL
Four years later, the grief is still real, and so is the fight. Join us for a candlelight vigil as we gather in community to mourn the anniversary of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, honor those impacted, and stand together for reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy. Bring a candle, a friend, and your voice. If you make a sign, please use black poster board with white or red writing to help create a unified visual display. Together, we remember. Together, we resist. Together, we refuse to go backward. June 24, 2026 | 7:00–8:30 PM | Courthouse Square, Albemarle. We mourn. We honor. We won’t go back.
